Hi everyone,

I’m sure this is on everyone’s mind given the current economic climate and the progression of COVID-19.

I have been asked similar questions recently about whether new product (i.e. Rebel Clash, Collection Pins, Tins and Boxes) will be available at the time of its estimated release date.

At this stage, business will continue as usual from my end, our distributor and postal service provider. We have been informed of the necessary changes our providers have made in relation to health official advice by limiting face to face contact with customers, implementing necessary PPE (hand sanitisers, face masks…etc) and working from home.

I understand that the future of the world’s economy is uncertain and may experience a similar recession that occurred during the GFC. In my opinion, I don’t believe the world will come to a complete halt, rather a transition into online markets. Essential services will always remain in operation, as they have in past world events. However, non-essential services as you are becoming aware have closed or in the process of closing down (i.e. restaurants, bars, cinemas…etc).

I have noticed this past week, States and Territories are closing their boarders to reduce public interstate travelling in an effort to control population movement. This shouldn’t affect postal services, as this is an essential service that must remain in operation to keep the economy afloat.

If you are in two-minds about pre ordering Pokemon that is coming out in the next few months, my suggestion is to only order if you are financially in the position to do so. Your health and safety comes first and those around you. This applies to buying into private sales of collector items, or other items you may see fit. If you are on the reverse and contemplating whether to sell your collection, in my opinion, now wouldn’t be a good time unless it is necessary. On that topic, be aware of scams or deals that seem too good to be true. This economic climate is the perfect storm for bad apples to take advantage of the less fortunate or those in fear.

Business wise, if The Pokemon Company US decides to cease exports worldwide, we will be notified by our distributor, where I’ll forward that information to you. In that event, customers who have made pre orders with affected product will be refunded in full. If there is a delay, I will notify customers as soon as applicable.

In stock items are still being processed as business continues as normal. I haven’t been informed whether delays will occur with our postal provider, but deliveries sent in the last week haven’t been delayed to my knowledge (includes eBay orders).

At the end of this week, I should have more Galar Partnership Tins, along with Dragonite and Salamence Tins, and Booster Pack Variety Kit that has the latest sets.

Stay safe, look after loved ones and be vigilant. COVID-19 isn’t a joke and should be taken seriously.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I will do my best to help.
